Tetra Images has launched a new site of conceptual images based on all things that are American called Stock Photos America.  They will have images from stars and stripes to the wild west.  Check it out here .

Not sure when this happened, but 123RF now automatically broadcasting your image sales, uploads, and other goodies for you at your twitter account.  Log on to 123RF and go to your account, you will see a link that says "Link to Twitter".  If you are not a member of 123RF stock photography then sign up here .

I know I am late on getting this posted, but here are the sales data for the month of March.  Hopefully this summer I will be able to process the massive amounts of images from Europe and D.C. I have collected.  Like normal for me Dreamstime took the lead with both sales and referrals.  Shutterstock showed a strong showing and finally iStock and 123rf where neck and neck.  Deposit Photos has consistently shown a few sales every month, but the numbers are still skewed due to the promotional program.

JPG now lets you link your account to facebook, making it easier to share all your great photos and challenges. ..And share your photos and stories with zero effort! Those without a JPG account that are Facebook members can now log in via Facebook . This process creates a new account with your Facebook data (name, email and such), sends your JPG login info to you via email and takes about 10 seconds to complete from start to finish. Old school JPG'ers (That's you!) can now tie their account to Facebook . After doing so, you'll be able to select what type of content you want automatically posted to your Facebook wall. FeaturesPics launched a major overhaul of this site last week.  Everything has been changed all the way down to their logo.  First off their website has been streamline for buyers and contributors, no more redundant pages when you log in or confusing path ways of links to find what you need.  First thing you will see is their fresh looking front page which looks more professional instead of a second class stock photography site.  There new logo is also very modern and attractive, hopefully all these improvements will lead to stronger sales and more advertising from the company.

Also the Canon Rebel T1i has gotten a firmware update here .  If your camera is reading 1.1.0 then you don't need the update, this can be found under the settings options...camera must be in a creative mode such as "M".  The update focuses on the two following items, follow instructions on how to update (its very easy): 1. Enhances the reliability of Live View shooting 2. Fixes incorrect indications on the Arabic, English, and Swedish menu screens Canon has released the much anticipated 2.0.3 firmware update for the Mark II , click here to get it.  However they have had users experiencing issues and will come out with a new update soon.  The link above will allow you to sign up your email address so you know when the update is out.
