DepositPhoto Promotion Change


For those of you using the Promotion deal with DepositPhotos they will be changing the program starting April 1st. Its really a small modification, but if you send in several images that have been rejected for poor quality they may remove you from the program...make sense, they don't want to look at hundreds of crappy photos that people are hoping to get a total of a $100 for. If you are not familiar with their promotion program, they pay out $0.20 per accepted image upto the first 500 images you upload. You agree the the photos will remain on their site for at lest 6 months, overall this is the best promo deal in the industry. Sign up for DepositPhotos here.

Cutcaster Overhaul

Cutcaster has never looked more like a professional stock site then they do now.  Over the holidays Cutcaster rolled out a massive update to the site.  If you have not been there in a while you will be shocked with its new look and color scheme.  First up the site is much faster and a lot easier to read.  They have still have the bid option on buying images, but have also expanded with subscription sales and pay per use.  As far as contributors go you will be happy to see that they have reorganized the upload page, your personal profile and basically everything else.  The best part is everything makes sense and is easy to find.  Hopefully this drastic improvement will lead to stronger site viewership and sales.  Great job to the Cutcaster team.
